Ronald H. Hess

Ronald H. Hess, 67, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018. He was born December 28, 1950 to James and Wilma (Boswell) Hess at home in Mulvane, KS. Ronald was a Vietnam Era Army Veteran and loved landscaping, fishing, music, and dancing. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Scott Hess; brother, Clint Hess; and dogs, Brandy and Cassie. Ronald is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joyce; children, Tim (Connie) Hess and Jessica (Sean) Darnell; siblings, Carol Tipton, Cliff (Pam) Hess, Dennis (Lavae) Hess, and Teresa (Jim) Holdren; grandchildren, Scott Darnell, Skylar Darnell, Brittany (Ross) Adkins, and Christina Faye Craig; 4 great-grandchildren; and beloved pet, Snowball. Visitation: Friday, June 8, 2018, from 1 to 8 pm with family present between 5 and 7 pm. Memorial Service: 10 am, Saturday, June 9, 2018; both at Smith Mortuary - Mulvane, 501 SE Louis Blvd., Mulvane, KS 67110.
