Wichita - Fagan, Ronald "Ron", 78, passed away Friday, April 29th, 2022. He was born June 14th, 1943 to Madeline & William Fagan in Mobile, Alabama. Ron started his career at Cities Service Natural Gas where he eventually retired 1999 as a senior corrosion engineer. Ronald was a star football player at Murphy High School in Mobile Alabama, unfortunately he suffered a severe knee injury which stopped his football career short. He enjoyed coaching youth baseball as well as being an avid softball player. He was cherished as a hero to many. Ron enjoyed sports of all types especially football & baseball, and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Madeline Bell (Berger), Father, William Fagan, Brother-in-law, Maurice Vautier, Step-father, Harold Bell. Ronald is survived by his Wife, Donna Williams Fagan, Wichita KS, Daughter, Janet Fagan, Derby KS Son, James Fagan, Clearwater KS, Step-Son: Edward Williams, Wichita KS, Step-Daughter: Micki Tanner (Williams), Twin Falls ID, Step-Son, Ben Williams (Karen), Sandy UT, Sister, Sharon Vautier (Bell), Theodore AL, Brother, Hank Bell (Donna), Edmond OK, Sister, Carmen Williams (Larry), Mobile AL 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Friday, May 6th, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Smith Mortuary - Haysville 7031 S. Broadway Haysville, Kansas 67060. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
