Ronald Bruce Chrisman

Derby, - Ronald Bruce Chrisman 75, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 with his extended family by his side. He was born April 17, 1947 to Truman and Opal (Harper) Chrisman in Salina, Kansas.

Ron joined the Navy after graduation and proudly served 6 years. Most of his time in the service was spent in Vietnam and he continued to be a proud veteran until his death.

Ron married Romayne Smith in 1971 and spent 46 wonderful years with the love of his life. Together, Ron and Romayne journeyed through life, ultimately settling in Georgia. He deeply missed her after her passing in 2017 and moved back to Kansas in 2019 to be near family.

In addition to his beloved Romayne, he was also proceeded in death by his parents and his Brother In Laws, Gordon Smith, Troy Smith and Dallas Shea.

Ronald is survived by his brother, Greg Chrisman of Lawrence, and his extended family- Romayne’s siblings, Gregg Smith of Wichita, Chris Smith of Wichita, Cindy Wait of Orlando, FL, Kim Shea of Haysville, Monica (Sid) Stahl of Derby and Mark (Kim) Smith of Derby.

A graveside service, at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Salina, KS, will be held at a later date.
