Roberta L. “Bobbie” Heersche, 91, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Visitation Sunday 4-8 p.m, family present 5-7 p.m. at Smith Mortuary Derby. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday at Mulvane United Methodist Church, 107 S. Central Ave. Mulvane. Bobbie is preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Clanton; husband, John Heersche; son, Dr. Larry Rork, sister, Virginia Cloyd; daughter in-law, Jean Rork; son in-law, Duane Pember. She is survived by her children, Edward (April) Rork, Dennis Rork, Dana (Steve) Covey; step-children, Don (Sue) Heersche, Julian (Sherri) Heersche, Sharon Pember, Janet (Reverend Ken) Hathaway; 18 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
