Bob Winegarner, Jr.

Bob "Sonic Bob" Winegarer, Jr., 68, passed away Saturday, March 16th, 2024. He was born August 11th, 1955 to Robert, Sr., and Frankie Winegarner in Wichita, KS.

Bob worked as a sheet metal modification mechanic for Lear Jet and retired as a methods planner. Bob also was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and was a member of the Kansas Modified Bike Association.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; children, Amber Winegarner, Rebecca Winegarner; parents, Robert, Sr. and Frankie Winegarner; siblings; Rod (Kathy) Winegarner, Debi Winegarner, Donna Garcia; grandchildren, Kamron, Shawn, Jr., Rylee, Olivia and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 and funeral service is 10:00 am Thursday, March 21st, both at Smith Mortuary - Haysville, 7031 S. Broadway Haysville, Kansas 67060. Interment to follow at Maize Park Cemetery. Reception to directly follow the graveside service at the American Legion Post 256, 459 W. Vanderhoff Cir, Wichita, KS 67209.
