Robert Winfred Smith, age 94, of Derby, retired Boeing Company employee, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014. Visitation 1-8 PM Sunday, April 27, with family receiving friends 2-4 PM, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Graveside service 1 PM Monday, April 28, Moline, KS Cemetery. Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; son, Troy; brother, Bill; and sisters, Violet Apel and Betty Watson. Survivors: son, Kelly (Shirley), Rose Hill; daughter, Jill Thomassian (Arlen), Los Angeles; grandchildren, Ben and Kyle Smith, and Troy and Athena Thomassian; great-grandchild, Sawyer Montoya; nephew, Mark Smith (Rose), Derby; nieces, Patricia Weaver (Jim), Maricopa, AZ, and Cindy Smith, Wichita.
