Robert Michael Rhodes, born on October 2, 1972, passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 52.
Robert was the beloved son of Bill and Rose Rhodes and a cherished brother of his sister, Lisa Shaw. He was a devoted father to his two children, son Avery Rhodes and daughter Aubrey Rhodes, who were the light of his life.
A dedicated educator, Robert earned his MBA from Southwestern College and went on to inspire countless young minds as a high school math teacher. Beyond the classroom, he shared his passion for teamwork and perseverance as a soccer coach, leaving an indelible mark on both his students and players. His commitment to education and mentorship resonated deeply with those who knew him.
Robert's warmth and kindness extended far beyond his professional life. He was surrounded by many friends and former students who held him in high regard and whose lives were enriched by his guidance and friendship. One of his favorite jobs was working at Madrocks Sports Bar in Derby. He loved helping people and always enjoyed engaging in a spirited conversation.
May Robert's memory bring comfort to all who knew him and serve as a reminder of the profound impact one person can have on so many lives.
