August 3, 1915 — January 30, 2017
Robert "Bob" Pearson, 101, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Thursday, followed by funeral at 10 a.m., at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Bob was a veteran of the Army Air Corps, serving in WWII. He retired from Boeing as a supervisor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther, and daughter Rhonda Keen. Survived by son Gary (Paula) Pearson; grandchildren Michelle Kelley, Gregory Pearson, Eric Keen, and Alan Keen; great-granddaughters Michelle and Hannah; siblings Dorothy Stanfield and Gerald Pearson. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Doc’s Friends, PO Box 771089, Wichita, KS 67277.
