Robert Lee Ogle was born December 12, 1940 in Unionville, MO. He graduated high school and was king of his senior prom. He spent his younger years as a barber in Kansas City, MO, and later working in a boot factory in Olathe, KS. He later moved to Rose Hill, KS and began a horse training stable where he trained cutting horses and broke other horses. Later on he had a boarding stable. He succumbed to heart failure in Wichita, KS on August 16, 2024. He loved life and was a true cowboy.
He is survived by Phyllis Lester, his common-law wife, by Gene Taylor, his aunt, by Mike Barrett, his cousin, and numerous others. He was preceded in death by his parents Loren and Leona Ogle of Unionville, MO, and by his brother Tom Ogle of Raytown, MO.
Upon his request there will be no service and he will be cremated, with his ashes going to four cemeteries.
