Robert O. Noller

Robert “Bob” Noller, 83,joined Heaven’s choir on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. In 1952, Bob started his career in banking. Bob married Margaret Hancock on February 14, 1953 in Emporia, Kansas at the Friends Church. He was in the first class of the Derby Police Academy and a part of crimestoppers. He was also a Lions Club member since 1961 and enjoyed being a part of the Derby Community Theatre and church musicals as well as singing in his church choir. At Woodlawn United Methodist Church, he had been a lay speaker since 1961. Survivors: wife, Margaret; sons, Dan Noller (Julie) of Wichita; Don Noller (Judy) of Marion; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 5 siblings; 1 step-brother. His granddaughter, Bethany Rae Noller, precedes him in death. Viewing: 2-8pm Friday, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby with family greeting friends from 5-7pm. Funeral service: 2pm Saturday, December 20, 2014, Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S. Woodlawn, Derby. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Derby Senior Center or Woodlawn United Methodist Church Choir.
