Robert Edwin Newkold

Robert E. Newkold, 78, peacefully joined his parents and brother Richard in heaven on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. Bob was retired from NCR, served in the US Marine Corps, and was a member of Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn Jo; daughters Annette Newkold, Jennifer (Rick) Doyon, and son Greg (Sheri) Newkold; grandchildren Amanda and Bret Doyon, Shannon and Kristi Weigle, and Kayla Vaughn; great-granddaughter Saleen Weigle; brother Ralph (Beverly) Newkold of Dayton, OH; sisters Joan (Ray) Kline of Beavercreek, OH and Margaret (Frank) Graser of Swansboro, NC; and sister-in-law Judy Newkold of Kettering, OH. It was Bob's wish to donate his body to the University of Kansas Medical Center. Private family services have been held.
