Robert Eugene Matney

DERBY- Matney, Robert Eugene, 81, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012. He was a retired Boeing Modification Mechanic and a veteran of the Korean War. Visitation 5-8 Tuesday, April 10; funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane; children Delores (Charles) Dosh, Haysville, and Gary (Vickie) Matney, Andover; grandchildren Christopher and Delanie Dosh, Kasey (Nathan) Clyde, and Melette Matney; sisters Geraldine (Mac) Mathis, Doris (Eugene) Rogers, and Linda (Harold) Avery.
