Robert Dean Larkin, Sr., age 77, former truck driver and lounge operator, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Visitation 1-5 PM Friday, February 26, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Recitation of the Rosary 7 PM Friday, February 26, with Mass of Christian Burial, 1 PM Saturday, February 27, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 132 S. Millwood. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Russell & Nettie Mae Larkin; son John Michael Larkin; brothers, Ray and Ernie Larkin; and sisters, Delores Hunter and Phyllis Larkin. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Sharon; son, Robert Larkin, Jr. (Debra), of Wichita; daughters, Lori Larkin and Krista Avis (Brian), all of Wichita; sisters, Nancy Clark (Larry), of Wichita, and Jan Jansen (Justin), Mustang, OK; stepbrother, Darrel Leitzel (Cheryl), of Wichita; stepsister, Val Reed (Richard), of Wichita; grandchildren, Michelle, Brandon, Jake, Amanda, Ashley and Riley; great-grandchildren, Kadence, Liberty, Chase and two on the way.
