Robert "Bob" Lawrence Henning, 79, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026 in Bel Aire.
Robert was born January 12, 1947 in Wichita, the son of Lawrence and Leona Henning. He retired from USD 259 after working as a custodian at West High School for over 25 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Carl R. Henning.
Bob is survived by his siblings, Stella Sewell (Phil), Deb Golden (Larry), Leo Henning (Pam); and by numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita, KS 67213. Recitation of the Rosary will be 6 pm Sunday at the mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Monday, August 24, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Parish, 132 S. Millwood, Wichita, KS 67213.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Parish and to Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E. Rockhill St., #403, Wichita, KS 67206.
