Robert Russell Hansen

Robert R. Hansen passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. He was a graduate of Leon High School and served honorably in the United States Air Force. Robert dedicated 38 years of service to Vulcan Chemicals before his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred; his mother, Elizabeth; and his wives Nancy and Deanna.

Robert was married to Nancy in 1965, Deanna in 1993, and Phyllis in 2014. He is survived by his wife Phyllis, children, Angela and Eddie; several stepchildren; his sisters Yvonne (Bonnie), Jewel, and Donna; three grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Smith Mortuary, Haysville. Funeral services will take place Monday, July 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church. Robert will be remembered for his devotion to family, his strong work ethic, and his service to his country.
