Robert Guy Hall

Robert G. “Bob” Hall, age 90, passed away December 20, 2024. He was born January 12, 1934 to Alex and Gladys (Truex) Hall in Wichita, Kansas.

Bob graduated from Wichita East High School and attended Wichita University. Bob married Barbara Ellen Hopper on September 11, 1954 in Wichita. He worked for the Coleman Company and Litwin Engineering Company and then 38 years as a Project Engineer with Vulcan Chemicals Company in Wichita. Bob retired as a CPO from the U. S. Naval Reserve after 24 years. Bob was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association where he held several officer positions in the local Wichita Branch. Bob and his wife Barbara were members of a retired military travel club (S.M.A.R.T.) for several years where Bob held various leadership positions and they enjoyed traveling the country in an RV.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and wife Barbara. He is survived by two children, Brian (Gina) Hall of Haysville, Kansas and Brenda (Joseph) Wedding of Centerville, Ohio, and granddaughter, Lyndsy Riley.

Visitation, Monday, December 23, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Smith Family Mortuary 1415 N. Rock Rd, Derby, KS 67037

Graveside service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at White Chapel Cemetery
