Robert Goldwater

Goldwater, Robert Louis, 89, passed away on January 22, 2026. He was born on March 23, 1936, to Clarence V. and Beulah J. (Wooldridge) Goldwater in Oxford, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Claire Utt, Vern Goldwater, David Goldwater, Judy Talley, and Roland Goldwater; granddaughter, Tessa Kessel; and great-granddaughter, Chelsey Kessel.

Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda; children, Marilyn (Robert) James, Robert (Melinda) Goldwater, Jr., Kristi (Larry) Schmidt; grandchildren, Brian (Myle) James, Shane Goldwater, Lindsey Edwards, Kyle (Savanna) Goldwater, Nathan Schmidt, Nicholas Schmidt; great-grandchildren, Sierra Thomas, Orion Goldwater, Makayla Milton, Lilly Milton, Magee Milton, Paxton Goldwater, Callen Goldwater, and Oakleigh Goldwater; siblings, Max Goldwater and Vonda Epling.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Smith Family Mortuary - Haysville.
