Robert “Bob” Loren Gann, 89, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018. He was retired from Safeway and Garnett Auto Supply. Bob enjoyed working in his garden, annual finishing trips to Beaver Lake, Arkansas, and hunting trips in the fall. He liked to travel – especially trips to Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada. Being born and raised in Arkansas, he was a devoted Arkansas Razorback fan and enjoyed attending ball games. He loved the holidays and spending them with his family. Bob was a great supporter of his grandchildren and proudly attended their many sporting events, concerts, and grandparent’s day activities. He will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Emily; parents, Basil and Lutie (Daily) Gann; sister, Wilda Adams; infant twin sons; and infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth.
Survivors include his daughters, Linda Mossman and Kim (Bill) Baze; sister-in-law, Doreen Wages; grandchildren, Bryan (Kathy) Speir, Jason (Samantha) Baze, Carrie (Tyler) Wilson, Chris Mossman, Jennifer Mossman and Erin Baze; 10 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Via Christi Village Ridge for loving and caring for Dad over the past 5 years. We would also like to thank his care team from Serenity Hospice for their kindness, compassion, and support.
