Robert Edward Day

Robert "Eddie" Edward Day, 75, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on June 19, 2025. He was born on June 10, 1950, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Roberta and William M. Day.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, William “Billy” S. Day; his beloved wife, Donna Day; and their two children, Nichole and Michael Day.

He is survived by his devoted sisters, Suzette Dillon, Rose Rhodes, and Cindy Aldrup.

Eddie married Donna on February 19, 1983. A gentle and easy-going man, Eddie was known for his quiet strength and kind heart. He was passionate about golf and had a lifelong love for classic cars. He spent many dedicated years working in maintenance at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower Airport (formerly Wichita Municipal Airport) before retiring.

A Rosary will be held to celebrate Eddie’s life on June 30, 2025, at 1:30 PM and Memorial Mass at 2:00 PM, both at St. Mary Catholic Church in Derby, Kansas.
