Robert Joseph Doffing

Robert “Bob” Joseph Doffing, was born the 11th of 13 children on January 6, 1960 in Wichita, KS to Winifred and George Doffing. Bob died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the age of 54 years. He was a 1978 graduate of Campus High School. He spent 5 years in Seattle, WA before returning to Wichita to dedicate the past 17 years to a career with Chance Rides Manufacturing. While working for Dick and Carol Chance, he was able to pursue his love of the outdoors by nurturing and caring for their land and home. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dale and Billy. Survivors: brothers, Marty, Danny, Chuck, Rick; sisters, Carol White, GeorgAnn Runyon, Janice Wilson, Donna Lea, Lori McCune; Tina Rodd; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A memorial graveside will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 1:30pm Mulvane Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Monday, March 17 to share memories of Bob at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Memorial contributions to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
