Robert Glen Brincefield

Brincefield, Robert G. “Bob Brint,” 84, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Sunday, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, at Derby Church of the Nazarene, 840 N. Woodlawn. In 1961, he moved his family from Ft. Wayne, Indiana to live his dream as owner/manager of Brint’s Diner until his health forced his retirement in 1996. Bob served Christ, his family, and as a mentor and friend to those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Vera Brincefield, three brothers, and one sister. Survived by wife Imogene Elder Brincefield; children Michael & Grace Brincefield, Steven and Aizza Brincefield, Karen Brincefield, and Theresa Brincefield; brother Larry (Ruth Ann) Brincefield; grandchildren Rebecca Curry, Deena Moon, Jeremy Miller, Jennifer Teel, Angela Brincefield, and Andrea Brincefield; great-grandchildren Garret and Anna Moon, Natalie and Dylan Curry, Sarah and Robert Teel. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Salvation Army, 350 N. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
