Rick L. Everett, age 56, of Wichita, retired Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Deputy, passed away, Thursday, January 5, 2012. Visitation 1-8 PM Monday, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Graveside memorial service 1 PM Wednesday, Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, KS. Rick is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda; parents, Leroy and Thelma Everett; and a brother, Dean Everett. Survivors: daughter, Kelly (Mike) Brandon, of Wichita; brothers, Don (Peggy), of Haysville, and Bob (Ann), of Kyle, TX; sister, Jill (Carl) Wendt, of Kyle, TX.
