Richard Andrew Shuler

Richard Andrew Shuler, 56, passed away February 14,2023 surrounded by his family. Rich was born in Pontiac Michigan to his biological parents Butch Hockett and Cheryl Kern, and raised by his parents Richard and Gene Shuler. After graduation Rich proudly served the United States Navy for 13 years where he was able to travel to many countries, and enjoyed telling everyone about his journeys. Rich was a proud Trekkie, and true Star Wars fan! In 2002 Rich married Tammy Shuler and eventually retired to Derby Kansas. Together they had a family of 6 children (arranged by age) Mallorie, Mindee, Mason, Miranda, Linda, and Caity. He is survived by 11 siblings, many friends, and his Grandkids Sofiyah, Aydin, Masey, Amiah, Kyeriss. Aalaya, Zarie, Emma, and Archer.
