MULVANE- Novak, Richard C., 89, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012. Visitation 1-8 Tuesday, family present 5-8, Senter-Smith Mortuary, 501 SE Louis Blvd., Mulvane. Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Mulvane First Christian Church. Richard was a member of the Christian Church and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie, son Mike, sister Mildred, and brothers Bob and Ken. He is survived by his daughter, Connie (David) Vaughn; grandchildren David Vaughn, Delane Olsen, Brian Novak, Michael Novak, Gregory Novak, and ten great-grandchildren, plus on one the way. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67212, and Mulvane Christian Church, 502 Highland Park Drive, Mulvane, KS 67110.
