95, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024. He was born May 25, 1929 to Ernest and Rachel McCready in South Bend, Indiana.

Richard served 6 years in the Army, and was a truck driver for approximately 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann McCready.

Richard is survived by his children, Debra Phillips (Tom), Tina Dillon, John McCready; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 15th, 2024 at Smith Family Mortuary 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Scottsbluff, Nebraska on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 2pm.
