Richard A. Martin, age 68, of Wichita, National Auto Service and Repair, co-owner, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2011. Visitation 1-8 PM Sunday with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, funeral service 2 PM Monday, August 22, 2011, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Interment will follow the service at Mulvane Cemetery. “Dick” is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Frank & Mary Martin. Survivors: his wife, Alice; sons, Richard, Jr. (Amy), and William (Cindy); daughter, Venus; stepsister, Mary Ann (Dale) Taylor, all of Wichita; and 9 grandchildren.
