Mulvane-Johnson, Richard "Rick"

Richard Alan Johnson, age 61, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 in Mulvane. Rick was born December 6, 1953, in Moorhead, MN, the son of Alfred T. and Edna (Gilbertson) Johnson. On December 30, 1972, he married Nancy (Kivi) in Callaway, MN. Rick retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service. He also worked at the Villa Maria in Mulvane as Director of Enviromental Services. Memorial service will be Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 4 p.m. at the American Legion Post 136, 410 SE Louis Drive, Mulvane, KS 67110. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of Mulvane; daughters Sara (Bill) Rolfes of Portsmouth, VA; Rachel (Jason) Oliver, Rockville, MD; Grandchildren Kirstin Rolfes, Hallie Rolfes, Farrin, Mason, and Austin Oliver; father, Alfred; 5 sisters and two brothers. He was preceeded in death by his mother, Edna and two sisters. In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with The American Legion Post 136 or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S.
