Richard W. "Rick" Hester, 62, KPTS Master Control Operator, died November 19, 2016. Survivors include his wife, Crystal; children, Nichole Rockhill, Timothy Hester, John Hester (Sara); step-children, Nikki Custer, Jason Tanner; sisters, Joy Newlin (Randy), Jeanie Flaming, Loise Drake (Bob); 13 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Hazel Hester and sister, Fern Otrupcak. No viewing. Celebration of Life Service: 10am Saturday, November 26, 2016, Asbury United Methodist Church, 2801 W. 15th St. North, Wichita, KS. A memorial is established with Campus High School Fine Arts Program, 2100 W. 55th St. South, Wichita, KS 67217. Floral deliveries to the church on Saturday from 8am-9am only.
