78, passed away Thursday, January 11th, 2024. He was born October 14th, 1945, to Franklin and Mary Gill in Bloomington Illinois

Richard had a great love of life, his family, friends, nature and creatures big and small. He enjoyed telling stories of fast cars, old western shootouts, wars and guns, he was a tinkerer and loved working with his hands and on his property. Richard certainly loved America.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Corazon Sy Gill; parents; and grandson, Billy Dennison.

Richard is survived by his sons, Franklin (Lottie) Gill and Michael Gill; step-children, Wil (Mary) Locke, Sharon Eliza (Skip) Dennison, Kenneth Locke; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Rebecca) Gill; sister, Eleanor Gill; faithful companions, Missy and Mokke.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
