Richard Erb

Richard “Dick” Erb, of Mulvane, 87, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016. He was born May 5, 1928 in Detroit, MI. Dick retired from Boeing where he was once named Employee of the Year and then went on to work at Raytheon where he later retired. In his retirement, Dick worked at Wal-Mart as a greeter and Santa Claus for many years. He volunteered with the Mulvane EMT where he taught first aid and EMT certification. Dick was a dedicated member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Erb; mother, Gertrude (Charles) Erb; sister, Gloria Holliday; and infant brother. Dick is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lois Erb; children, Rebecca (Clint Hankins) Foster, Rick (Bobbi) Erb, and Angela Erb; grandchildren, Matthew (Tiffany) Erb, Marni Erb, Sara Erb, Drake Foster, and Emily Lager; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Henry, Evie, and Clara Erb; niece, Susan Holliday and nephew, Don Holliday. Memorial Graveside Service: 2pm Monday, February 8, 2016 at Mulvane Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S.
