Richard "Rick" Dudley

Richard “Ricky" Lee Dudley “The Can Man," 51 of Mulvane, KS passed away in his home on October 19, 2023. Ricky was born to Vicki Lynn Holden and Hayden LeRoy Dudley in the hall of St. Joseph Hospital. Ricky married the love of his life, Candace, on May 7, 2006. He gained a daughter Whitney A. Riley of Wichita, KS. Ricky had three younger siblings, Darren L. Dudley of Mulvane, KS, Jeremy L. Dudley of Wichita, KS, and Penny L. Dudley of Park City, KS. Two nieces AbbiGail Esinhart of Joplin, MO and Rilee Dudley of Wichita, KS. Ricky was proceeded in death by his brother Darren, Grandma Holden, Grandpa and Grandma Dudley, nephew Caleb Dudley, one aunt, three uncles, and two cousins.

Ricky overcame so many trials and tribulations throughout his lifetime with a smile on his face. A world traveler, a man of nature, humble, selfless, loving, kind and a hard worker with a gentle soul are what made Ricky unique. He loved his hometown of Mulvane, KS and didn’t know a stranger.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Smith Family Mortuary Mulvane Chapel 501 SE Louis Blvd. Mulvane, Kansas 67110.

Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, at Mulvane United Methodist Church 107 S. Central Mulvane, Kansas 67110. Interment to follow at Mulvane Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Hospice or Boy Scouts of America Troop 888 Mulvane.
