Richard D. Anderson

Anderson, Richard D., 65, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015. Rick was an Eagle Scout and outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish and spoil his dogs. Music was also a joyful part of his life. He listened to and played many different instruments. Memorial gathering 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Hubbard; parents, Anson and Parma Anderson; and brothers Cris and Steve Anderson. Survived by son Loyd (Dede) Hubbard; granddaughter Miki (Chris) Short; great-granddaughter Violet Forister; sister Parma (Ken) McCaffree, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202; and MD Anderson Cancer Center, 1515 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030.
