Richard L. Almire

MULVANE – Almire, Richard L., age 77, retired Boeing supervisor, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012. Visitation 1-8pm Thursday with family present 6-8pm at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Funeral service 10am Friday at the First Baptist Church, 1020 N. Second Ave., Mulvane. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, KS. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Elsie Almire; first wife, Joleen Almire; son, Bryan Masters; sister, Janet Beulieu. He is survived by his wife, Dori; children, Brad (Angie) Almire, Bret (Jean) Almire, Douglas Ewert, Robert (MariAnne) Ewert, Steven (Kimmy) Ewert, Sheryl (Eddie) Brocklesby, Michelle Ewert and Darci Norman; 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy (Everett) Hartzler. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 118 S. Oliver St., Wichita, KS 67218 or to the church.
