Richard Allen Jones

Richard Allen Jones, Jr., of Wichita, age 65, retired art instructor, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014. Visitation 1-8 PM Friday with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Funeral service 10 AM Saturday, March 15, St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1356 N. Broadway. Interment will follow at Wichita Park Cemetery. Richard was an art instructor for USD 259, Holy Savior Academy, Atlanta, GA Public Schools and the Fredonia Public Schools. He is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn & Richard Allen Jones, Sr., and nephew, Grady Lane. Survivors: wife, Jovonne; daughters, Isabella Jones, Atlanta, GA, Carrie Jones, Heather Warner, and Hillary Braynov (Anton), all of Wichita; brother, Clifford Jones, San Francisco; sisters, Rosalind “Rusty” Fields (Kenneth), San Francisco, Maxine “Judy” Lane (Jerry), Wichita, and Tricia Lynn Blanks, Suitland, MD; grandchildren, Mahren Warner, Nikola, Kaylee and Elliott Braynov; and a host of nieces and nephews.
