Richard "Rich" Lee Adams, 83, retired U. S. Army Chief Warrant Officer, died May 28, 2017. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Rodriguez. Survivors include his wife, Naomi; sons, Doug Adams (Terri) of Wichita, Mark Adams (Tessa) of Derby; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth Adams (Pam) of Andover, Wanda Janzen (Bill) of West Plains, MO. Viewing: 3-8pm Sunday with family greeting friends from 6-7pm at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Funeral service: 1pm Monday, June 5, 2017, Resurrection Lutheran Church, 3850 W. 71st St. South, Haysville. A memorial is established with Wounded Warrior Project.
