Rex James Pyeatt

Rex J.Pyeatt, age 86, of Mulvane, retired Gas Service Company employee and retired farmer, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. Visitation 3-8 PM Sunday, July 26, 1-8 PM Monday, July 27, with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Funeral Service 11 AM Tuesday, July 28, all at Smith Mortuary, 501 SE Louis Blvd., Mulvane. Rex is preceded in death by his parents, William & Myrtle Pyeatt; a brother, Bill; and a grandson, Logan Branine. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Norma; sons, Rex A. (Janet), and Mark (Deanna); daughters, Shelda Leach (George), Teresa Fleming (Kenneth), and Susan Branine (Jeff), all of Mulvane; sisters, Elsie and Mary June; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
