WICHITA – Hensley, Rex Eugene, age 71, retired Wichita businessman, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Visitation 2 – 6 p.m. Sunday, July 31, with family present from 2 – 3 p.m. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday August 1, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby, KS . Rex was preceded in death by his parents Gene & Marjorie Hensley and brother Gerald. He is survived by his wife Cheryl; son Clint (Laura) Hensley; daughters Jana Best and Lori (Keith) Bateman; sisters Francine Nichols and Frances Wood; grandchildren Ryan, Nick, Jessica, Thomas, Michael and Amy; and great-grandchildren.
