Rex Monroe Chrisco

February 6, 1943 — July 15, 2017

Rex Monroe Chrisco, age 74, of Wichita, formerly of Haysville, loving husband, father and grandfather, retired Learjet, Mass Properties Engineer, and avid postage stamp collector/ dealer, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017. Visitation 1-8 pm Wednesday, July 19, with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, Smith Mortuary, Haysville, 7031 S. Broadway. Funeral service 11 am Thursday, Asbury United Methodist Church, 2801 W. 15th St. N., Wichita. Rex was former Scoutmaster of Troup 893, Haysville and a SAWE Honorary Fellow. He is preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Eva Chrisco. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Erna; sons, Richard (Teresa ), of Wichita, Edward (Christal), of Haysville; daughter, Charlotte Townsend (Tom), of Omaha, NE; sister, Norma Scott, of Choctaw, OK; and grandchildren, Monroe, Matthew, Ravhanna, Savhanna and Megan.
