Bennett, Rena M., age 78, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012. Visitation 1-8pm Wednesday, August 1st, with family receiving friends from 5-7pm at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Funeral service 3pm Thursday, August 2nd, at Hillside Christian Church, 8330 E. Douglas, Wichita. Rena was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Rosetta Ritchie; husband, Jerry Dell Bennett; sons, Bradley and Russell Bennett; brother, Randall Ritchie; great-niece, Misha Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Dana (John) Antle of Alexandria, LA; grandchildren, Aaron (Susan) Pollard of St. Louis, MO and Tara Lang of Alexandria, LA; great-grandsons, Nathan and Lucas Pollard; siblings, JoRita (Bill) Davis of Wichita, Leon Ritchie of Wichita and David (Margie) Ritchie of Ardmore, OK; nieces and nephew, Kathy (Dave) Hanshew of Pratt, Montie Davis of Wichita, Kris (Pat) Huntoon of Wichita, Debbie Bennett of Skiatook, OK, Steve Bennett of CO, Angie (John) Engel of Ada, OK and Brandi Ritchie of Decatur, TX, along with many great-nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the church.
