Reinhold Carl Schneider

Reinhold Carl Schneider, age 84, of Derby, retired NCR engineer, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013. Visitation 1-8 PM Thursday with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 10 AM Friday, Faith Lutheran Church, 214 S. Derby Ave., Derby. Interment will follow at El Paso Cemetery, Derby. Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Carl & Anna Schneider; and sisters, Olga Cowic and Helen Shoemaker. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Janice; son, Brian (Andrea), of Wichita; daughters, Claudia Jill Hopkins (Richard, Jr.) and Jo Ellen Little (Gregg), all of Winfield; grandchildren, Dustin Schneider (Lydia), Melissa Heflin (David), Derek Schneider (Candace), David Schneider (Victoria Floyd), Brian Hopkins (Julie), Brad Hopkins (Patricia), Sara Randall (Dusty) and Rachel Talley (Justin); 18 great-grandchildren.
