Rebecca Lynn (Corbett) Rogers was the heart of her family and the kind of person who showed up - every game, recital, birthday, holiday, and ordinary moment in between. If her children or grandchildren were there, chances are she was in the stands, gathered around the table, or spending hours in the kitchen making sure everyone felt loved and supported. She rarely missed an activity for the people she loved most and took great joy in being present for both life's big moments and the small ones alike.
Family gatherings were Becky's specialty, and no one ever left hungry, unnoticed, or without a good time. She had a gift for making people feel welcomed, cared for, and important. Though her absence leaves a tremendous void, her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured so faithfully.
Becky was born on September 3, 1950, in Wichita and, with her family by her side, peacefully entered eternal rest on May 12, 2026, at the age of 75.
Becky grew up in Haysville and attended Campus High School, where she met the love of her life, Michael "Mike" Rogers. The couple later married on September 19, 1970. Together, Becky and Mike built a life in Haysville, where they raised their four children and created a home that became the center of countless family gatherings and treasured memories.
Of all the jobs Becky held throughout her life, the one closest to her heart was her time at Campus High School as a paraprofessional in the special education classroom. She treasured her students and was adored in return.
Even after retirement, Becky's days remained full as she lovingly cared for her great-grandchildren, creating special bonds and memories that will be cherished forever. Becky spent her life creating the kind of family and home people never wanted to leave. Her family will continue striving to honor her legacy by living with the same love and devotion she showed each and every day.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Myrle (McCammon) Corbett.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Rogers; children Angie (Ken) Mull, Kevin (Tracey) Rogers, Carrie (Darren) Pracht, and Kenny (Mandy) Rogers; grandchildren Tori (Kaleb), Kreighton (Shianne), Carlie (Sam), Carsen (Sydnee), Drew, Nicholas (Avary), Daylie, Emma, Marlee and Maya; great-grandchildren Emerie, Briar, Sailor, Steele, Sutton Lynn - who proudly carries her great-grandmother's name - and Stetson; siblings Randy (Robyn), John (Linda), Julie (Melvin), Bryan (Diana), and Rex (Sandy); along with countless nieces, nephews, friends, and her beloved "Three Amigos," Vicki and Ilene, whose lifelong friendship meant so much to her.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 18, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville, Kansas. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 19, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Haysville, Kansas with burial to follow at Waco Cemetery.
