Raymond Lee Evans, 87, was received into the arms of his Lord Jesus Christ early Thursday, June 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; parents, and an infant brother. Survived by his dog, Papino; children Russett (Byron) Stubbs, Gale (Debbie) Evans; 2 sisters, 3 brothers, and numerous grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren. Viewing 1-8 p.m. Sunday, with family greeting friends 6 to 8; funeral service 10:00 a.m. Monday, both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby.
