Knoll, Raymond L., 77, rural Douglass farmer, passed away of cancer on Sunday, November 1, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born September 29, 1938 to Virgil and Valta (Dempsey) Knoll in Wichita, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters. Remembering him with love are his wife of 48 years, Sandra Knoll; daughters, Kiffany (Terry) Althouse of Douglass and Kendra (Thomas) White of Augusta; grandchildren, Austin Althouse, Reagan White, and Ryker White; and 1 sister. Visitation: Wednesday from 1 to 8 pm with family present between 6 and 8 pm at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple, Douglass, KS 67039. Funeral: 1 pm, Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the United Methodist Church, 204 S. Willow St., Douglass, KS 67039. Interment to follow at Douglass Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Douglass United Methodist Church or Douglass Public Library, 319 S. Forrest St., Douglass, KS 67039.
