Raymond Laverne Elston

Raymond LaVerne Elston, of Mulvane, age 83, self-employed aviation-manufacturers representative, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013. Visitation 1-8 PM Wednesday, October 2, with family receiving friends 6-8 PM, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Rd, Derby. Memorial service 10 AM Friday, October 4, Mulvane United Methodist Church, 107 S. Central, Mulvane. Inurnment will follow at Mulvane Cemetery. Raymond is preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Walter R. & Florence Elston; mother and stepfather, Pauline & Fred Roath; and a brother, Gary B. Elston. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Rosalie; sons, Loren (Kathy), Wichita, Scott (Chris), Owasso, OK, and Gary (Lynn), Mulvane; daughter, Kimberly Jacobson (Dane), Wamego; brothers, Rodney Roath (Sue), St. Bonifacius, MN, Daniel Roath (Pat), Woodinville, WA, and Gordon Roath (Pam), Bel Air, MD; 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
