Randall Matthew Bannon

Randall Matthew Bannon, 44 passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Visitation 1-8pm Tuesday, family present 5-7pm; 2pm Funeral Wednesday, March 4th, both at Smith Mortuary-Haysville, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville, KS 67060. He was born on August 24, 1970 to Michael and Caroline Bannon in Wichita, KS. He attended school in Haysville. Randall was a singer, songwriter, musician who performed in local bands over the years. He was a golf professional in Hilton Head, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. After returning to Wichita, he was involved in full service vending. He still managed to play golf two or three days a week. Randall is preceded in death by his, grandparents, Clyde and Avis Bannon, Joe and Blanche Basks. He is survived by his parents; brother, Don Michael (Sara) Bannon; large extended family and an amazing number of friends who all claim that he was their best friend. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Wichita Mens Golf Association, P.O. Box 75163, Wichita, KS 67275.
