Rafael Paul Gonzales

Haysville – Rafael “Ray” Gonzales, age 64, passed away May 15, 2012. He was born June 29, 1947 in Arkansas City the son of Miguel and Pauline (Delgado) Gonzales. On August 16, 1986 he married Susan Utt in Belle Plaine, KS. Ray served in the United States Air Force and was a retired South Western Bell and AT&T worker. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Interment, at Belle Plaine Cemetery in Belle Plaine, KS. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Petra Gonzales. Survivors: Wife Susan Gonzales of Haysville; children Michael Gonzales Wichita, DeLinda and Brent Daingerfield Haysville, Ashley and Clark Czaplinski Arkansas City, and Kendra Gonzales of Wichita; grandchildren Jillian Gonzales Wichita, James Vesco, Kayla Vesco, William Daingerfield of Haysville, and Cruz Czaplinski Arkansas City; two brothers Bernard Gonzales of Rose Hill and Marin Gonzales Arkansas City; two sisters Dolorez Gonzales and Herlinda Sobba both of Arkansas City.
