Quinten D. Kelley

Quinten D. Kelley, 90, passed away on December 7, 2013, in Mulvane, KS. He was born May 6, 1923 in Augusta, KS the son of Sherman Socrates and Eva Grace (Sweet) Kelley. Quinten retired from Boeing where he was a supervisor and Smith Family Mortuaries as an Assistant Funeral Director. On May 17, 1946, he married Hazel Nadine Pennick in Emporia, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and 6 brothers. Survivors include his wife of 67 years Hazel; children, Bruce Kelley and his wife Anita, Edmond, OK, Jerry Kelley and wife Judy, Chandler, AZ and Beth Eklund and husband Rick, Sumner, WA; grandchildren, Ryan, Nathan, Carly, Matthew, Kellie and Susan; 9 great grandchildren. Visitation 1-7pm Thursday, December 12, 2013, with the family receiving friends from 5-7pm at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd, Derby. Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013, in the Mulvane Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Progressive Hospice, 3500 N. Rock Road, Bldg. 400, Wichita, KS 67226.
