Preston Mackenzie Mobley

Mobley, Preston MacKenzie, 21, died tragically, Sunday, March 1, 2015. Preston was born January 14, 1994, to Mike and Carol (Allen) Mobley. He was a student at Hutchinson Community College, where he studied Fire Science. He was actively pursuing careers in both firefighting and law enforcement. He was a member of Wichita Fire Explorers Post 881, and volunteered at many community events. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Friday, family present 5-7 p.m. at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 2801 W. 15th St. Preston was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobby and Diana Allen. He leaves behind his parents, Mike and Carol; younger brother, Pierce; grandparents Connie and Charlie Mobley; the love of his life, Hayley, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
