Phyllis Gene Haskett

Phyllis Haskett, 81, passed away November 2, 2026 at her home in Udall, Kansas. She was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on January 11, 1945, to Phillip and Freddy Leininger. From the age of three, she was raised by her mother and stepfather, Melvin Shenold.

Phyllis worked for Wheat State Telecable, Binney & Smith, the aircraft industry, and was a para for more than ten years for USD 465, Winfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene; son Michael, sister Helen Gay Shenold.

Phyllis is survived by son Jeff (Lori) Haskett, grandchildren Jane and Lucy Haskett; siblings George Shenold, Mary Kay Jennings, William Shenold, Wendy Conley, and multiple nieces and nephews. She is also survived by close friends Randy (Gina) Hoffman, Kelsie (Lucas) Krug, Abby (John) Beard, and their children Charlotte and Vivian.
