Phillip David Harris Jr.

Phillip David Harris Jr. “Dave” passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Mulvane, Kansas at the age of 53. Dave was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He was the son of Phillip David Harris and Marquieta Ann Shelton. Dave graduated from Mulvane High School in 1988. He was employed at Spirit AeroSystems for over 15 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, woodworking, drag racing, fishing, RC sports, grilling, and raising hell. Dave will be remembered for his unconditional love, reliability, brutal honesty, his ability to make you laugh, and his ornery sense of humor. He is survived by his four children, David “Ryan” Harris (Shania), Nicholas “Grant” Harris, Taylor Harris, and Caylie Harris, his stepmother Linda Harris, Mother-in-law Marcie Weller, Father-in-laws Matthew Weller and Lyle Lashbrook, his three siblings, Christopher Harris, John Harris (Darla), and Rebekah Taylor (Matthew), and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and mother. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 2 pm at Smith Mortuary, 501 E Louis Blvd, Mulvane, KS 67110, with interment at the Mulvane Cemetery. The viewing will be held from 11 am to 1 pm. Flowers may be delivered to the Smith Mortuary in Mulvane.
